Multiple configuration options and upgradable blank storage for 16 to 80 blanks
The new M6 Teleskoper Blank Changer milling unit is the latest CAM device developed by Zirkonzahn to automate processes, accelerate procedures and increase productivity in the daily workflow. With multiple configuration options, expandable blank storage for up to 80 blanks and the Teleskoper Orbit SelfLock, automation and modularity define this new generation of milling units.
The Blank Changer is the key feature of the machine regarding automation. This function permits the autonomous transfer of material blanks between the storage and the orbit before and after the milling process. In combination with modular storage units for 16, 60, 70 or 80 blanks, this enables continuous, autonomous operation without interruptions. The integrated Teleskoper Orbit SelfLock, on the other hand, enables fully autonomous milling through the automatic clamping and unclamping of blanks and holders. With a diameter of 125 mm, the orbit can process material blanks in sizes of 95 mm, 98 mm, 106 mm, and 125 mm, and using special holders also glass-ceramics, Raw-Abutment® as well as mini zirconia blanks can be milled. As a result, large volumes of restorations in different dental materials, colours, and heights can be manufactured fully automatically without manual intermediate steps.

The system’s modular design offers maximum flexibility, with up to five different configurations. Users can start with the basic version and expand the system over time to the most advanced setup. The available configurations range from the compact entry-level M6 Teleskoper Mono, without Blank Changer and blank storage, to the M6 Teleskoper Triple Production Centre, where up to three milling units can be connected to the same storage unit and access blanks simultaneously. Depending on the specific requirements of each laboratory, the storage unit can contain 16, 60, 70, or 80 blanks.

The M6 milling units are open-system. However, they work perfectly in combination with the in-house developed CAM software, which has recently been enriched with the new Zirkonzahn.CAM High-Speed module. This accelerates procedure even more, significantly reducing calculation and nesting times, as well as the milling processes. For example, a complete denture (upper and lower denture bases and teeth) can now be milled in about 2 hours and 20 minutes only.
